Blackpool manager Ian Evatt has given his reaction to club legend Brett Ormerod's 50th birthday celebrations, which saw the former striker wear a vintage tangerine shirt in Benidorm.
Ormerod, who made 184 appearances for the Seasiders, was pictured at an airport wearing an old Blackpool kit with his name and the number 50 printed on the back.
"I’m worried for him already," Evatt told reporters. "I saw the picture of him at the airport, and ‘wow’ was my initial reaction - ‘what are you doing?’"

The current boss, who is preparing his side for a home game against Plymouth Argyle, offered some light-hearted advice to the promotion hero. "I wish him well; I just hope he takes that kit off pretty quickly," Evatt said.
Ormerod scored 49 goals and provided 13 assists across two spells with Blackpool, playing a key role in promotion-winning campaigns in 2001 and 2010. He also had spells with Southampton and Wrexham during his career.
Current context
Evatt's focus remains on the present, with his team sitting 12th in League One after five games. They have seven points from two wins, one draw and two defeats, with a goal difference of plus two. The side has lost its last two matches, including a 3-1 defeat at Reading last weekend, and faces Plymouth at Bloomfield Road this Saturday.
The manager will be looking for a response from his players as they aim to climb the standings. Blackpool are currently five points behind early leaders Sheffield Wednesday.
