Blackpool FC Loses Goalkeeper to Leicester City in Permanent Transfer
Blackpool FC has confirmed the departure of back-up goalkeeper Franco Ravizzoli, who has completed a permanent move to Leicester City for an undisclosed fee.
Ravizzoli, 29, has signed a three-year deal with the East Midlands outfit, where he will link up with his former MK Dons boss Russell Martin. The Argentine goalkeeper made just eight appearances for Blackpool since joining the club last summer.

Ravizzoli's departure comes just after a year with the Seasiders, having made the switch to Bloomfield Road after spending two seasons with Wycombe Wanderers. His exit leaves Ian Evatt's side with a shortage of goalkeepers, with Bailey Peacock-Farrell being the first-choice.
Blackpool are due to face Leicester at the end of September on the Fylde Coast and at the King Power Stadium in April, with the Foxes suffering a shock relegation to League One last term. Ravizzoli will be looking to push for a place at his new home, having signed a three-year deal with Leicester City.
Blackpool are currently 13th in League One, 60 points, 17W-9D-20L from 46 games, recent form WWWWL. They have scored 54 goals this season, conceding 65, with a -11 goal difference. Ravizzoli has expressed his delight at joining Leicester City, saying: "I'm absolutely delighted to be here. As soon as I heard about the Club's interest, I just knew I couldn't turn the opportunity down. I feel ready for a new challenge and am really looking forward to working with [Russell Martin] again."
