Blackpool legends Charlie Adam, Sam Allardyce and Simon Grayson will reunite for a special evening of club stories at The Lowther Pavilion in Lytham on Wednesday 30 September. The two-hour show will give supporters a chance to hear personal memories and behind-the-scenes tales from their careers at Bloomfield Road.
The event comes as the current Blackpool side sits 15th in League One with eight points from seven games, having lost 3-2 to Wigan Athletic last time out.
Legends’ Blackpool careers
Charlie Adam made 91 league appearances for the club between 2009 and 2011 before moving on to Liverpool and Stoke City. Simon Grayson managed the Seasiders to promotion to the Championship in 2007. Sam Allardyce began his coaching career at Blackpool in 1994, later managing Newcastle United, West Ham United, Everton, Leeds and the England national team.
Tickets and further information for the reunion evening are available online. The event is promoted as a timely reminder of the club's proud past during a challenging period on the pitch, with the team's recent form showing just one draw and four defeats in the last five matches.
