Blackpool FC have partnered with Panini to create a free limited edition holographic sticker celebrating 125 years at Bloomfield Road. The club will hand them out to fans at today's home match against Plymouth Argyle.
Supporters can collect the commemorative sticker from a pop-up stand outside the main reception ahead of the 3pm kick-off. It is limited to one per person while stocks last. The initiative is part of the club's wider 125-year anniversary celebrations.
Katie Gritt, Head of Sport Marketing at Panini, said the company was pleased to be involved. "We’re delighted to bring this limited edition Panini sticker to fans of Blackpool FC, in celebration of Bloomfield Road’s 125th anniversary!" Gritt said.
Ross Morgan, Head of Marketing and Media at Blackpool FC, called it a meaningful addition to the festivities. "It’s another really nice addition to our 125 year celebrations and a great way for supporters to own a small piece of Bloomfield Road history," Morgan said.
The giveaway comes as the team looks to move on from a 4-2 home defeat to Plymouth on Saturday. Blackpool currently sit 15th in the League One standings with eight points from seven matches. Their next challenge is an away trip to face Notts County, who are 20th, this Saturday. Fans can check the full fixtures list for the rest of the season.
Founded in 1887, the club's long history is now captured in a collectible sticker for supporters to keep.
