Blackpool prepare to host Plymouth Argyle at Bloomfield Road this Saturday, seeking to build on their strong home performance against Peterborough. The Seasiders sit 10th in the League One table with 8 points from their opening six matches.
Their recent form has been mixed, with a 2-2 draw against Bromley last time out following a heavy defeat at Reading. That result at Bloomfield Road saw goals from Albie Morgan and Tom Bloxham, the latter assisted by Finley Munroe. The comprehensive 4-0 victory over Peterborough on August 29 remains their standout result this season.
Plymouth arrive in seventh place, three points ahead of Blackpool, and are in strong form themselves. They have won three of their last four league games, including a 3-0 home win over Barnsley last weekend.
Neil Critchley's side will need to be defensively solid against an Argyle attack that has scored eight goals in its last three outings. The manager is expected to name a similar side to the one that started against Bromley, with Bailey Peacock-Farrell in goal behind a back four of Jordan Williams, Oliver Casey, James Earl and Finley Munroe.
